Stars Stripes & Moon Valley nights! Every summer, one of our favorite traditions lights up the sky—and our hearts—right here in Moon Valley. The annual 4th of July fireworks show at Moon Valley Country Club  is more than just a display of dazzling lights—it’s a celebration of freedom, family, and the close-knit neighborhood we’re lucky to call home.

This year’s event takes place on July 3rd and is made possible by our wonderful friend and neighbor, Jackie Briggs with Locality Homes, who is proudly sponsoring the fireworks. If you see Jackie around, be sure to thank her! She’s not just a local real estate expert—she’s a true supporter of the Moon Valley community and always goes the extra mile to make it a better place.

We still remember one of our first Independence Days in the neighborhood back in 2014. We were brand-new to this wonderful community and holding our baby girl in our arms as we sat on the front lawn watching fireworks burst above the golf course. That memory is etched in our hearts as the moment we knew we were home.

• The first fireworks celebration of Independence Day took place in 1777—just one year after the Declaration of Independence was signed.
• Americans use about 285 million pounds of fireworks each year on the 4th!
• The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia is tapped 13 times on the 4th of July to honor the original 13 colonies.
